In preparation for OUR’s Spring 2021 Virtual Undergraduate Research Symposium, this interactive workshop will cover the ‘how-tos’ of virtually presenting your research. Using proper techniques when self-recording your research is essential as improper use of video can result in blurred poster presentations, audio-to-video synchronization issues, and other limitations in discussing your research to audience members. In this demonstrative workshop, we will discuss proper techniques you may use when self-recording your research presentation. In addition, we will demonstrate the process of uploading your video and submitting it to OUR.
By participating in this workshop you will:
- Understand proper techniques of self-recording research presentation videos
- Understand what types of videographic and presentation pitfalls to avoid
- Learn the process of self-recording, uploading, and submitting your research presentation video
