OUR: Research Writing: The Results, Discussion, and Conclusion
Office/Remote Location
Description
The function of the results, discussion, and conclusion sections of a research article is to present your findings; discuss their meaning, significance, and contribution to your research area; restate the main argument and research question; and clearly and concisely articulate and wrap up your arguments, interpretations, and their broader implications. In this workshop, we will draw from the scholarly and academic journals, using results, discussion, and conclusions sections of published articles in the humanities, social sciences, sciences, and engineering, to highlight and demonstrate best practices in ending research articles.
