OUR: Research Literacy: Organizing and Managing Sources
When
Office/Remote Location
Description
Thriving in an increasingly digital research ecosystem relies on students' ability to effectively locate, access, and organize information. This, in turn, requires familiarity with various referencing styles and freeware (e.g., Mendeley and Zotero) and software (e.g., Endnote). This webinar teaches student researchers the basics of digital resource management, including how to create and manage digital libraries; how to import, sort, and organize digital research publications; how to annotate; and how to create bibliographic references in MLA and APA styles. Students will also learn how to easily incorporate reference management freeware into Microsoft Word to organize and manage references locally.
