Description
Are you an international student graduating this semester? Do you plan or wish to continue your work experience post-graduation?
Optional Practical Training (“OPT”) is the legal pathway for any F-1 student who graduates this semester to acquire more work experience in their field of study.
If you wish to engage OPT, you must begin your application process 60 days prior to GRADUATION. Please attend an OPT session as soon as possible to learn about these deadlines and restrictions. A question and answer session is part of this training, so bring your questions and learn how to take advantage of this important benefit!
Additional workshops will be offered throughout the semester. Please check the OISS Calendar for additional dates.
