Join us for a workshop on common elements of graduate school applications. In this hour-long workshop, you will learn tips and strategies to help you draft and revise your personal statement. Additionally, we will discuss how to understand a prompt and how to organize your statement. We will also review the transcript submission process. In addition, we will go over letters of recommendation and discuss who to ask for letters, how and when to ask, and what information your recommenders will need from you. Finally, we will go over graduate school-related testing (GRE, TOEFL, etc.), including how to determine which tests you need to take, how to register for tests, how to report your scores to UNLV, and online testing resources.
