October Date Night at the Barrick Museum

Oct. 17, 2013,
6pm to 8pm

On the third Thursday of every month bring someone special along for Date Night at the Museum.

Art lends itself to conversation in a natural and inadvertent way, it allows you to get to know someone. Bring a picnic, tour the garden and galleries and create a work of art together (projects vary each month).

For the month of October, Mr. Yusuke Minami, deputy director/chief curator of the National Art Center, Tokyo, Japan, will be giving a tour of the exhibit "Passage to the Future: Art from a New Generation in Japan."

Bring a picnic, visit the galleries and the garden and after the tour create a work of art together. This month we will have landscape making materials available - Get inspired by the works in the exhibition, such as Nobuyuki Takahashi's "Waves" and make your own landscape.

Museum Hours:
Mon.-Fri.: 9 a.m.–5 p.m., Thur. until 8 p.m.
