Securing funding is vital for translating a research idea into action. In this workshop, students will learn the difference between internal and external funding types and their availability, how to search for funding opportunities, and how to submit a competitive funding application or proposal.

By participating in this workshop you will:

  • Learn about the different type of funding sources, both internal and external
  • Learn about how to strategically apply for funding sources so to have a competitive edge
  • Discuss how best to secure funding source types
