Join us for an evening of contemporary classical instrumental and vocal chamber works by composers Chiayu Hsu (Winner, Call for Scores), Ingrid Stölzel (Honorable Mention, Call for Scores), Diego Vega, Virko Baley, and a jazz/classical crossover work for bass, string quartet and piano by renowned jazz pianist and composer, Chick Corea. Hsu, Stölzel, Vega and Baley will be in attendance at the concert. Joining UNLV faculty and student performers are guest performing artists Susan Kim (violin) and Jeremy Russo (cello). All Nextet concerts are free and open to the public.
