Spring 2017 New Graduate Student Orientation
Welcome to UNLV! Each August and January the Graduate College hosts a New Graduate Student Orientation. Even if you know the layout of the campus and think that you have had your questions answered, we invite you to join us at the event. It will be a wonderful opportunity to meet other graduate students and get insider tips on how to survive and thrive in your graduate studies.
Student Information Session & Reception (Marjorie Barrick Museum) from 1:30-4:30 p.m. is mandatory for all new spring 2017 admits.
In order to register for the New Graduate Student Orientation, please login to your MyUNLV page, go to your Student Center and RSVP through your Communication Center located on the right hand side of the page.
New Graduate Student Orientation Program
Grad Rebel Time: 10:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m.
Tours: Please reserve your spot.
Student Recreation & Wellness Center Tour: 10:45 a.m. & 11:45 a.m.
Lied Library Tour: 11 a.m. & 11:30 a.m.
Graduate Assistants Q & A: 11 a.m.–12 p.m. (Lied Library, Room 2141)

Student Information Session & Reception (Marjorie Barrick Museum)
- 1:30-4:30 p.m.
- The Student Information Session will provide new students with important information to ease the transition into graduate study at UNLV. Graduate College staff will discuss policies and procedures and address issues and concerns that new graduate students may face. After the information session we invite you to join us for a reception for our incoming graduate students. Light refreshments will be provided.
This event is free and open to new graduate students.
