Description

All new graduate students are required to attend orientation.

Please see below for the tentative schedule. Please note that the International Student Orientation takes place on TBD.

International Student Orientation (Required for New International Graduate Students only)

Location: Student Union Ballroom

Please plan to join the Office of International Students and Scholars for this mandatory but brief session.

  • Get Your Rebelcard

    All Day

    You will need to get your Rebelcard student ID to access important resources including the UNLV Library's online resources. On Friday, January 17, 2020, the Rebelcard office will be open from 10 a.m.–5 p.m. If you would like to get your Rebelcard on another day, please check their website for hours of operation before heading to campus, as Rebelcard office hours vary.

MANDATORY NEW GRADUATE STUDENT ORIENTATION (Student Union Ballroom B & C)

Time: 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. (check in begins at 1:30 p.m.)

The New Graduate Student Orientation will provide important information to ease the transition into graduate study at UNLV. Graduate College staff will discuss policies and procedures and address issues and concerns that new graduate students may face.

Scholarship Giveaway: The Graduate College will give away two $1,000 access scholarships to newly admitted students who RSVP and attend the Student Information Session. Two names will be drawn from the list of RSVPs. Recipients must be present to win, must enroll in six graduate credits in both the Spring 2020 and Fall 2020 semesters, and must have completed a FAFSA. There will be several gift drawings throughout this event.

To RSVP for New Graduate Student Orientation students will receive a personalized RSVP link sent to their UNLV Rebel Email.

New Graduate Student Welcome Mixer and Campus Resource Fair

Location: Student Union Ballroom B & C
Time: 4:00-5:00 PM
Please join us for a reception for our incoming graduate students. Light refreshments will be provided. You will also have the opportunity to talk with important campus partners.
