The internet - by way of social media - lures us from one expectation laden experience to the next, serving as the wobbly window pane through which we can observe all we’ve forsaken in the quest for something newer, better, more. In her thesis exhibition, “you had to be (t)here” UNLV MFA Studio Arts candidate Jennifer Henry examines the phenomenon of remote experience through the presentation of social media clips gathered during 3 site specific performances that have already occurred elsewhere.
