A mainframe serves as the central memory storage unit for a group of computers. In the Graphic Design & Media program at UNLV, this graduating class of twenty-seven designers has come together to curate a show that serves as the mainframe of our experience. Our capstone projects comprise of solutions to problems not commonly addressed through the lens of graphic design. This show is the culmination of many semesters of study, visual experiments, and collaborative projects, all crafted by a group of students with diverse cultural backgrounds and varied life experiences. We hope you will join us for this event and enter the Mainframe.
The graduating class of the UNLV Department of Art Graphic Design & Media program invites you to experience the projects developed over the course of the semester and view our final design portfolios. The night will begin with presentations of each student’s work and thesis project and end with a review of student portfolios by professional graphic designers from throughout the Las Vegas area. Refreshments will be served. The presentations are free and open to the public.
Presentations: 6:00–7:00 pm
