Description

The Post-Master’s Career Pathways Program is a year-long professional development program designed to help Master’s students explore and prepare for a variety of career options. Once accepted into the program, participants must complete a number of requirements. If the student completes the Post-Master’s Career Pathways Program, they may have the opportunity to be selected for an internship. Benefits of participating in the Post-Master’s Career Pathways Program include networking with local employers, preparing for the real-life challenges and opportunities that await post-graduation, and exploring and finding career pathways. This program is co-sponsored by the UNLV Graduate College and UNLV Career Services.

Admission Information

To be eligible to participate in this program, graduate students:

  • Must have completed at least 9 graduate level credits in a Master’s degree program at UNLV. 
  • Must be currently enrolled and in good academic standing in their Master’s degree program.
  • Must have a minimum 3.5 overall GPA.
  • Must have the approval of their faculty advisor.  
  • Must participate in the entire length of the program from the start of the Fall 2019 semester (Monday, August 19, 2019) to the end of the Spring 2020 semester (May 11, 2020).
