KSOM at UNLV-Research Seminar Series-Understanding Systematic Reviews
Office of Research invites you to attend our upcoming seminar being offered as a part of the Clinical and Translational Research Seminar Series (2021-2022 academic year). This seminar will feature Aidybert Weeks, MSLIS, AHIP, Interim Director of the UNLV School of Medicine Library. Through this seminar, attendees will learn strategies to undertake a high-quality and reliable systematic review, which plays a vital role in decision-making in evidence-based clinical practice and research activities. In addition, methods, terminologies, and tools to perform different kinds of reviews will also be discussed. This seminar will be completely virtual via Zoom.
Faculty, residents, fellows, and students across all health sciences are invited to attend. This activity is approved for 1.00 American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) prescribed Continuing Medical Education (CME) credit and AMA PRA Category 1-for physicians. Many societies and credentialing bodies accept the AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ as an equivalent as long as the topic is relevant to the applicant’s field or discipline.
