Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV Research Seminar Series - Evidence Based Medicine-Types of Study Designs
The Office of Research invites you to attend our upcoming seminar being offered as a part of the Clinical and Translational Research Seminar Series (2021-2022 academic year). This seminar will feature Kavita Batra, Ph.D., M.P.H., B.D.S., Biomedical Statistician of the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine. Through this seminar, attendees will learn about different types, characteristics, strengths, and limitations of research studies based on the Rating System for the Hierarchy of Evidence. This seminar will be completely virtual via Zoom.
Faculty, residents, fellows, and students across all health sciences are invited to attend.
This activity is approved for 1.00 American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) prescribed Continuing Medical Education (CME) credit and AMA PRA Category 1-for physicians. Many societies and credentialing bodies accept the AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ as an equivalent as long as the topic is relevant to the applicant’s field or discipline.
