The first in the Klai Juba Wald Lecture Series: Larry Scarpa (Brooks+Scarpa)

The work of Lawrence Scarpa and his frim Brooks+Scarpa has redefined the role of the architect to produce some of the most remarkable and exploratory work today. Over the last ten years Mr. Scarpa has received over fifty major design awards including 19 national AIA Awards, record houses, record interiors, The Rudy Bruner Prize, Five AIA Committee on the Environment "Top Ten Green Building: Awards" and the world Habitat Award. One of ten firms selected worldwide. He has also received the Lifetime Achievement Award from Interior Design Magazine. In 2010, this firm Brooks+Scarpa (formerly Pughiscarpa) was awarded the State of California and National American Institute of Architects Architecture firm award.
