Description
Dixie State professor Ka-Wai Yu (baroque cello) and UNLV School of Music faculty Jonathan Rhodes Lee (fortepiano) present a recital on eighteenth-century period instruments of works by Bach, Schubert, and UNLV composer Jennifer Bellor.
This concert features a unique, five-string cello called "violoncello piccolo," as well as a copy of a piano that would have been familiar to Schubert and his contemporaries. The program will include the world premiere of Jennifer Bellor's new work, "Damselfly."
This concert is sponsored by a Dixie State University's Faculty Research Grant.
