Description
As part of her show Connective Tissue, renowned neuroscientist-turned-artist, Amanda Phingbodhipakkiya will present her movement work January is a Girl. January is a Girl explores synesthesia, a phenomenon where perceptions of one of the five senses trigger sympathetic sensations of one of the other senses. Ten dance majors from the UNLV Department of Dance have worked with Amanda on the piece.
Following the performance Dean Nancy J. Uscher will give her remarks to kick off the third annual Art Walk.
