By participating in this workshop you will:

  • Learn about research ethics and tips for successful IRB review

  • Discuss what an IRB is, talk about the IRB review categories, and learn about the documents to submit for review

  • Workshop a draft or completed IRB proposal with other workshop attendees

Please bring at least two print copies (or a digital copy) of either a  draft or completed IRB proposal. Participants will exchange their proposals with other workshop attendees. Thus, they will both provide and receive feedback on their proposals. In addition, a member from the Office of Research Integrity - Human Subjects will be present to answer any questions on IRB proposals.
