Join the University Libraries for this virtual workshop, which will focus on the practical aspects of open access, including how to achieve open sharing of scholarly publications with confidence. You will learn tips for finding open access journals and how to make their articles published in traditional subscription-based journals open access for free.

Andrea Wirth, Scholarly Communication Librarian, will lead this discussion and help you gain strategies for identifying open access journals; be able to describe two different models of open access publishing; and learn about UNLV resources that can support different publishing models.
