Finding it difficult to focus?
Unsure how to live when the future is so uncertain with no solution in sight?
Trying to endure the social unrest, political fallout and the COVID-19 pandemic all at the same time?
Join the Intersecting Connections’ Team to hear from UNLV faculty, staff, and students on what strategies they are using to help their mental and emotional well-being during these unstable times.
This session will be moderated by Dr. Sharolyn D. Pollard-Durodola, Professor of English Language Learning.
Intersecting Connections (IC) is a developing and innovative programming initiative created to address various issues that minority students may face at UNLV. To help address some of these concerns and help fill the gap the IC Team includes: Behavioral Health Services for Student Wellness, Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS), Housing & Residential Life, The Intersection: Academic Multicultural Resource Center and Student Diversity & Social Justice (SDSJ). Visit the IC Blog for more information and updates.
