Summary
The skills leaders need are diverse and many! This course addresses the essential leadership skill of resolving conflict to assist team members come to their own solutions, while achieving outcomes that are beneficial to the organization. During these sessions, participants will learn skills and gain confidence in addressing conflict as it arises, as, oftentimes, conflict is not handled when a leader becomes aware of it. Participants will learn and become more comfortable using a conflict-issue-processing-technique they can apply immediately. The trainer will lead the group through definitions, best practices, and specific approaches for conflict resolution. They will then be role-models for the group. After this, participants will move into Zoom break-out rooms to practice with each other. Trainers will then provide observations on how each participant did resolving the conflict.
