How to Write Abstracts and Annotations

Description
Drafting an abstract and writing proper annotations are all fundamentals of the research process. In this workshop, students still cover the multitude of roles an abstract serves in accommodating a research manuscript. Additionally, students will learn about annotating skills and how best to retain crucial information found in reading material.
Learning Objectives: By participating in this workshop you will:
- Understand the purpose of an abstract
- Learn how to strategically annotate and retain crucial information pertinent to your research
- Learn commonly used citation styles
