This presentation aims to inform faculty interested in engaging student research participation at the undergraduate level. Attendees will learn about the following services offered by the Office of Undergraduate Research (OUR): research funding opportunities; professional development and career training opportunities; triannual undergraduate research symposia; research-oriented instructional support for faculty through classroom presentations; and a unique opportunity for undergraduate students to publish their research in Spectra Undergraduate Research Journal.

Learning Objectives

By participating in this workshop, you will:

  • Learn how to incorporate research into your classroom
  • Learn how to provide a research-oriented, unique experience in your classroom
  • Learn about the various tools that OUR offers to help facilitate your course’s research requirements
