Postdoctoral scholars are temporary (between 1 and 5 years), specialized education and training positions in research, teaching, performance, or scholarship that contribute to the continued education and professional growth of doctoral graduates. In some fields it is quite common, recommended, or highly encouraged to obtain a postdoctoral scholar position after doctoral graduation. This panel will share information on how to find the right position for you, where to job search, the importance of the faculty mentor/supervisor, how to build your CV now for the job market now and after the postdoc appointment, and more!
