An important step towards the submission of a manuscript for publication is its preparation for the publishing outlet. Preparing a manuscript for publication requires careful review of its contents and the guidelines set out by the journal.  In this informative and interactive workshop, students will learn how to prepare their manuscripts for Spectra, UNLV’s undergraduate research journal.

Learning Objectives: By participating in this workshop you will:

• Learn the difference between acceptable and unacceptable manuscript formatting for publication
• Learn the steps necessary to a get a manuscript submitted with Spectra
• Understand Spectra’s submission process and the documentation style and format that is acceptable to the journal
