Historical Primary Sources with Adam Matthew Databases

This demonstration, presented by Priscilla Finley, Humanities Librarian, and Ben Lacey, Academic Outreach Specialist for Adam Matthew Digital Publications, will explore a number of Adam Matthew-branded databases including Victorian Popular Culture, American Indian Histories and Culture, American West, Literary Manuscripts, and Migration to New Worlds Part 1 & 2.

Participants will have an opportunity to learn more about data mining or creating data visualizations using Adam Matthew collections, and attendees will see a sneak preview of the upcoming Handwriting Search Tool for searching in untranscribed digitized manuscripts.

Light refreshments will be available.
