Do interviews and networking dinners/events make you nervous? Are you unsure of what to do or how to sell your research/creative/scholarly activity? When asked at these types of events, “So what do you do?,” do you often get tongue-tied?  

By participating in this workshop, you will:

  • Learn tips and tricks for nailing your elevator pitch with confidence

  • Learn tips on how to network, including how to build and maintain connections with others

  • Understand why networking events and a great elevator pitch are important to your job search, professional network, and career goals

Workshop participants will have time to practice their cocktail speech with other attendees.
