Office/Remote Location
Description
An admission requirement of many graduate programs is taking a standardized test. Whereas some programs require that applicants only complete the test, other programs require applicants to earn a certain score to be eligible for admission. Two major standardized tests for admission to graduate school are the Graduate Record Exam (GRE) and the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT). This workshop will introduce you to the cost, duration, format, knowledge tested, and scoring system of the GRE and GMAT. You will also learn the key differences between the tests, which test you should take, and how to start preparing.
By participating in this workshop you will:
- Compare and contrast the GRE and GMAT
- Cultivate test-taking skills and preparation strategies for the GRE and GMAT
- Understand the logistics of test day for the GRE and GMAT
- Learn about sending GRE and GMAT test scores
