Students who intend to apply for admission to any MBA program - or many other graduate-level programs - of study will likely need to prepare for and take the GMAT or a similar graduate-level admissions test. This workshop will discuss the GMAT: an introduction to the test; its format, content and media; the need to prepare for it; the concepts tested and how to approach them; how computer adaptive testing (CAT) works and what to expect from a test that uses CAT; resources for further study; and general test prep advice. By participating in this workshop you will:

  • Learn about the GMAT: its format, content, strategy, what to expect and FAQs
  • Learn how CAT (Computer Adaptive Testing) works and how it will affect you
  • Learn how to solve real GMAT problems and answer real GMAT questions correctly, in both the Quantitative and Verbal sections
  • Learn how to raise your score in each section of the test
  • Learn how to break out of a scoring rut
  • Learn how to focus your prep work on what really matters to your score
  • Have an opportunity to ask your questions about the test and how to prepare for it
