Goal Exploration: Evening Session

Sep. 9, 2020, 5pm to 6pm

Office/Remote Location

Various studies show students remember things better when they are written down. Neuropsychologists refer to this as the “generation effect”, and explain individuals recall information they have created more so than if they were to simply read it. Taking this into account, coaches now encourage mentees to practice writing down goals. In order to be effective, goals must also be specific, measurable, attainable, relevant, and time-based (SMART). This workshop will unpack the foundations of goal setting, teach you how to create effective goals, and walk you through writing down a new goal.

By participating in this workshop you will:

  • Gain an understanding of goal setting foundations
