Are you a Pell Grant student who is interested in studying abroad? Are you looking for funding to help you reach your study abroad goal? The Office of International Programs is holding a Gilman International Scholarship workshop to help you better understand eligibility requirements and application components, as well as offer tips and advice on how to write your essays.

Gilman Scholars receive $2,000 - $5,000 to apply towards their study abroad or internship program costs with additional funding available for the study of a critical language overseas. The Gilman scholarship supports American undergraduate students of limited financial means to study or intern abroad and, since 2001, has enabled more than 24,000 outstanding Americans of diverse backgrounds to engage in a meaningful educational experience abroad.
