What are the ethical standards and professional expectations of a mentor? What principles should you use to guide your mentoring decisions? What areas pose the most vulnerability for ethical dilemmas? This workshop will help you understand the responsibilities of mentoring, the ethical standards that should guide your practice, and concerns that you may be confronted with while mentoring others.

By participating in this workshop you will:

  • Discuss the ethical standards that should guide your practice
  • Identify concerns that you may be confronted with while mentoring others
  • Learn how to model appropriate ethics to undergraduate students, graduate students, and postdoctoral scholars
