Description

Covid-19 pushed us into virtual classrooms overnight and instructors with years of experience were forced to rethink course design and effectiveness. While online education is not a novel mode of instruction, building a virtual community is very different from teaching and learning in-person. By participating in this workshop you will:

  • Identify the differences between in-person and online instruction
  • Learn strategies to engage online learners and build a virtual community
  • Discuss the challenges of online teaching and learning
