Writing anxiety is the condition of feeling uneasy about writing and writer’s block is what you experience when you can’t manage to put words on the page. As graduate students, it is not uncommon to experience one or both of these while working on our graduate research and projects. While each individual has their own relationship to writing, it is important to create healthy writing habits in order to be a successful graduate student.

By participating in this workshop you will:

  • Learn about strategies to overcome writing anxiety
  • Practice healthy writing habits
  • Discuss common mistakes and how to avoid them
