Description

Financial well-being is not a one-size-fits-all endeavor. Building constructive habits around budgeting, saving, and spending your money can help you achieve your life goals and a peace of mind with minimal financial stress. However, building new money habits can be difficult because perspectives on money are developed early in life and become ingrained by adulthood. Making things more difficult is the barrage of conflicting financial advice on the internet and social media. By attending this interactive workshop, you can cut through the fluff and learn sound money management techniques from financial professionals. Attendees will learn how to overcome common financial challenges faced by graduate students, begin maximizing their income, and saving money for emergencies.

By participating in this workshop you will:

  • Learn about common financial challenges faced by graduate students and how to overcome them
  • Learn about effective budgeting strategies to speed up progress toward financial goals
  • Learn how to save for emergency expenses and large purchases
  • Obtain tools, resources, and strategies for living within a set budget
  • Learn about apps that help you stay on track with your budgeting goals
