GC: Assertiveness Training and Conflict Management
Conflict between colleagues can cause a ripple effect across the office that negatively impacts the workplace culture and climate. If not handled skillfully and channeled toward finding a resolution, conflict can stifle cooperation, damage relationships, and compromise work productivity. Effective conflict management is an essential skill for every current and aspiring leader. When harnessed productively, conflict can be a positive force to build both company culture and a competitive advantage. Healthy conflict management can lead to a more cooperative, productive, and safe workspace. By attending this workshop, you will learn to improve these skills. You will also learn techniques for honoring the position, emotions, and needs of both yourself and others during a conflict.
