This session will be facilitated by Dr. Joe Ervin, Faculty Center Fellow from the Academic Success Center, and Dr. Nathan Slife, Faculty Center Fellow from the College of Education. This session will focus on the nature and importance of high-impact practices in the first-year experience.

We will examine questions such as:

• What exactly are high-impact practices?
• Why are high-impact practices important?
• How can we best incorporate high-impact practices into the FYE?
