Join us on Friday, August 2, from 6 to 9 pm at the Nevada Humanities Program Gallery in Las Vegas for a free hands-on found object art workshop. Participants will have the opportunity to create artworks from everyday objects. 

The Nevada Humanities Exhibition Series, opens a new exhibition, Dry Wit, on August 1, 2019 in partnership with the University of Nevada Las Vegas, Marjorie Barrick Museum of Art. The exhibition, which will be on display at the Nevada Humanities Program Gallery in Las Vegas from August 1– September 25, 2019, is co-curated by the Barrick staff. Bringing together painting, sculpture, illustration, and photography from the museum’s collection, Dry Wit explores the contrasts that unite us as we create this assemblage city we call home. Dry Wit features the following artists: Stephan Antonakos, Ash Ferlito with Matt Taber, Noelle Garcia, Jean Giguet, Jenna Gribbon, Alexa Hoyer, Eric LoPresti, Andrew Schoultz, Joyce Straus, Mikayla Whitmore, and Thomas Ray Willis.

Dry Wit will be on display, from August 1 – September 25, 2019, at the Nevada Humanities Program Gallery, which is located in the Art Square Garden Courtyard at 1017 S. First Street, #190. The Nevada Humanities Program Gallery is open Monday through Friday, from 1 to 5 pm, and until 9 pm on Preview Thursdays and the first Friday of each month.
