Description

UNLV School of Music presents a faculty recital with Dr. Daniel Brown. Dr. Brown is currently an artist-in-residence of tuba and euphonium at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and a teaching artist and band director in Tucson Unified School District. He holds a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in tuba performance from the University of Arizona, a Master's of Music degree in tuba performance from the Pennsylvania State University, and a Bachelor's of Art degree in music from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. Brown's teachers include Kelly Thomas, Velvet Brown, Daniel Burdick, and Sam Pilafian.
