Dr. Christine Draper, a Faculty Center Fellow from the Office of Online Education, will facilitate this semester's Faculty Center Book Group. Dr. Draper has selected Small Teaching Online: Applying Learning Science and Online Classes by Flower Darby.

Small Teaching Online: Applying Learning Science and Online Classes outlines practical and feasible applications of theoretical principles to help your online students learn from the syllabus, discussions, assessments, and more.

Join us as we look at current best practices around educational technologies, strategies to build community and collaboration, and minor changes you can easily make in your online teaching practice. You will consider small but impactful adjustments that can result in significant learning gains. The book also addresses specific challenges that online instructors face in higher education.
