Meaningful discussions are one of many ways that student learning can take place in online courses. A major challenge when engaging online is taking known educational best practices and adapting them for an online environment. In this workshop, we will review how to translate and implement effective facilitation principles in the virtual world.  By participating in this workshop you will:

  • Learn how to develop engaging online discussions
  • learn how to establish expectations for virtual discussions
