Description
Using a blend of asynchronous content and 1-on-1 consultation, participants will complete Level 4 of the Online Teaching and Course Design training series. This level focuses on evaluation of both teaching practices and online course design. Level 4 will serve as an opportunity for participants to evaluate a complete online course using both the self-assessment and a completed course inventory accompanied by evidence from a specific course to determine an overall level of competency and quality that will be verified by an Embedded Instructional Technologist. This process will include a completed self-assessment, a completed course inventory with evidence, evaluation from the instructor, and verification by the EIT.
By the end of this blended training, participants will be able to:
- Evaluate an online course using the Course Inventory
- Provide evidence to support evaluation of an online course
- Engage in critical thinking and discussion related to Online Teaching and Course Design
