A code of conduct are principles that govern the expected standards and behaviors of a person or group in professional environments. Like values, professional ethics provide rules on how a person should act towards other people and institutions in such an environment. Examples of professional ethics include integrity, fairness, transparency, trust, collaboration, perseverance, and continuous improvement. Join this workshop for a discussion on ethics & professionalism in academia and in the workplace.
By participating in this workshop you will:
- Identify important ethical standards in professional and academic settings
- Understand your role as a student, professional, and or leader-- in upholding professional ethics
