Nutrition sciences department would like to invite you to attend their diabetes prevention class. This series will cover strategies to prevent the development of diabetes through the teaching of appropriate nutritional choices and physical activity.  Topics will include nutrition basics, physical activity, food and its effects on blood sugar, eating out, and goal setting.

Admission Information

This event is free and open to students and staff.

This event is being offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5:15 p.m. & 6:30 p.m.

We are offering a variety of days and times to accommodate different schedules, however participants do not need to attend on both days or times as new topics are introduced weekly. Participation from the beginning of the series is encouraged as the topics build upon each other.
