By participating in this workshop, you will:

Identify behaviors to be aware of (e.g., sexist or derogatory comments made to other members of the class, handling situations where your authority is being challenged, etc.) that could be distracting for other students and/or cause conflict(s) to arise

Discuss strategies for addressing challenging students

Understand the resources that are available to you to help address challenging students and conflict in the classroom

Understand the formal processes that are available for students, faculty, and staff to address conflicts
