DASH Service Project
DASH seeks to address the problems of hunger and poverty by connecting UNLV students and people experiencing homelessness through the services provided at the Las Vegas Rescue Mission.
By making, packing, and delivering lunches, we hope to give students a glimpse of the plight of these disenfranchised populations and to give them a way to do something about it.
After the program, we hope participants will take their involvement to the next level by seeking other ways to do service with those experiencing homelessness.
- 2:30 - 4:00 p.m. Make sandwiches and pack lunches on-campus
- 4:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. Load up, deliver, pass out meals and help out in the kitchen at the Las Vegas Rescue Mission
