DASH (Delivering And Serving Hope)
Campus Location
Office/Remote Location
1st floor, by the eating bar and then to the LVRM to deliver lunches.

Description
DASH seeks to explore the problems of hunger and poverty by connecting UNLV students and people experiencing homelessness through services provided at the Las Vegas Rescue Mission.
By making, packing, and delivering peanut butter and jelly sandwich lunches, we hope to give students a glimpse of the plight of these disenfranchised populations, and to give students a way to do something about it.
After the program, we hope participants will take their involvement to the next level by seeking additional ways to advocate for and with the community experiencing homelessness.
There are two options for involvement which include:
- 3-4:30 p.m. prepare lunches and/or
- 4:30-6:30 p.m. deliver and hand out lunches to LVRM
