Crisis Management is a very real and rapidly growing challenge and nowhere is it more vital than the hospitality and tourism segment. From natural disasters to man-made threats, a crisis can strike at any time causing sudden and catastrophic results.

At this year's summit, you will learn how to shift from planning for every eventuality to creating an organizational culture of preparedness and response.

Who Should Attend? Anyone in a job related to the hospitality industry: CEOs, managers, and owners of hospitality companies; security and human resources personnel; public relations and crisis management professionals; hospital CEOs and managers; researchers; regulatory and government officials; aid organization representatives; and first responders.

The Speakers. You will hear stories from those who have been on the front line when disaster struck, and from those who averted disaster due to preparation and training. United States Army Colonel Russell Kern will provide the keynote address, speaking about "The Paradigm Shift: Building a Culture of Preparedness." Other speakers include representatives from government crisis management agencies; disaster preparedness consultants; and communications professionals

This day-long event begins with a networking breakfast, moves quickly through lunch with a series of speakers, and includes a 1.5-hour workshop on communicating during a crisis.
