The interactive “Crafting an Effective Presentation” workshop is designed to help students learn how to prepare and deliver a brief 3 minute research presentation, as well as a poster presentation. Hosted by the Office of Undergraduate Research (OUR), we will begin with an overview of the basics for creating a brief talk that provides key information about your research, scholarly, or art project. The second half of the workshop will include whole group discussion with the opportunity to ask questions, and a guided activity designed to provide individual assistance with creating your own talk. Students who are presenting at the 2018 Summer Undergraduate Research Symposium are encouraged to attend. RSVP today!
